What is a payday loan?
A payday loan allows you to borrow money until your next payday. You need to have a current source of regular income, a checking account, a valid form of identification and be 18 years or older. A payday loan is intended for short-term use and when used responsibly can help you avoid costly bounced check fees, overdraft fees and late fees.
What services does Quik Check offer?
Payday Loans, installment loans, money transfers and money orders. Some services are only available in select locations.
What services are available online?
How much can I borrow?
How much you can borrow depends on your income and the state in which you reside. Our online application or the team members in one of our stores will help you know exactly how much you can borrow.
When do I have to pay my loan back?
Typically, loans are due on your next pay date. However, there is some flexibility on repayment dates, within the range of allowable days for the loan.
Can I extend or refinance the loan if I need more time to pay the loan back?
In Utah and Idaho, Quik Check offers you the option to refinance your loan, so you have additional time to repay. When refinancing a loan you are required to pay the current interest due and then you can choose a new due date in the future for the loan. When you refinance a loan we encourage you, when possible, to pay extra toward your loan (in excess of the interest due) to reduce the principal balance and the interest for the refinance period. Extensions and refinancing are not available in Oregon and Wyoming.

How do I get my loan online? How do I pay it back?
We deposit your loan directly into your checking account and then withdraw the amount due on the loan due date.
How long does online approval take?
Most online loan applications are processed within 24 hours.
What is the cost of credit?
The cost of credit varies by state. You can refer to the fee schedule to see the cost in your state. However, as an example, if you borrow $100 for 7 days in Utah, the cost is $10.50 and the Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is 547.5.
Can I pay off or pay down my loan before the due date?
Yes. You are free to pay off or pay down your loan at any time with no penalty. In some states you may be entitled to a rebate of interest if you pay off or pay down your loan early. If you obtained your loan online, you can login to your account through our web site and schedule a payment. If you obtained your loan in one of our stores, you can visit the store to make a payment.
Can I make partial payments?
Customers may make partial payments in increments of at least $5 on the principal owed on the deferred deposit loan without incurring additional charges above the charges provided in the written contract.
Can I extend/refinance the loan?
A customer may apply for a refinance, which extends the loan due date, by contacting us one day before the payment is due and by paying at least enough to cover the interest earned. When refinancing a loan, Quik Check recommends, where possible, the customer pay more than the interest due. Paying more than the interest due pays down the loan principal and reduces the interest for the extension period. In Utah a loan cannot be extended beyond 10 weeks (70 days). In Idaho a loan may be renewed no more than three (3) times. Oregon and Wyoming do not currently have this option.
Can I change my mind after taking out a loan?
A customer may rescind a deferred deposit loan by the close of business the next business day. To rescind a loan the customer must notify us of their decision to rescind the loan and they must also return the principal portion of the loan in cash, cashier’s check or money order or, for online customers, with an ACH debit from their account. There are no fees charged for a loan when a loan is rescinded.
What makes Quik Check different?
Unlike most payday lenders who charge a flat rate regardless of the number of days your loan is outstanding, Quik Check provides a day-by-day rate which means you only pay for the days you need. Add to this our excellent customer services and our years of experience and Quik Check is clearly the best place to get your next loan.
